One of our teams commences with phase 2 on The Hunnable Industrial Estate, Great Yeldham from today. The site will be completely demolished behind unit 21 for future development.
HCD will remove asbestos before soft stripping all of the buildings followed by the demolition and concrete crushing. The project is anticipated to last for 15 weeks.
HCD are pleased to be contracting for Lancer Scott in this latest project. The British Small Animal Veterinary Association is going through an extensive refurbishment. HCD have been contracted by Lancer Scott for our expertise in soft stripping a number of fixtures and fittings, removing windows and partitions, remove a spiral staircase and demolish by hand one of the gable ends of the building.
The Haberdashers Monmouth School for Girls is the latest project for HCD. Working as a contractor for John Weaver Contractors Ltd, HCD have been requested to demolish the gym building as part of a renovation for the school.
The undertaking will involve asbestos removal, soft stripping, severing the gym from a retained building and demolishing the gym.
This is the first time that HCD have worked with John Weaver Contractors and we are looking forward to a long and rewarding partnership with them.
The former Day Nursery in Bettws, Newport is the latest project for our Welsh division. Asbestos removal will be undertaken followed by the demolition of the buildings and removal of the retaining walls.
Working for principal contractor P&P Builders, this small project is expected to be completed within three weeks.
A team has been sent to the Hunnable Industrial Estate in Great Yeldham for phase one of a two phase project.
Anticipated to last three weeks, the warehouse known as unit 21 will have the cladding and roof removed by our operatives before leaving the site while unit 21 is refurbished. Our team will then return to the site to commence phase two which will entail demolishing all other buildings within the estate.

Working for principal contractor P&P Builders, HCD have been contracted to remove asbestos, demolish all buildings and foundations. Materials will be crushed and left onsite for future use.
The demolition project is expected to last three months.

The Royal Victoria Hotel, Newport is to be transformed. Works will include soft stripping of the rear section of the hotel and two cottages at the rear of the property. The front of the hotel is being retained meaning severing the rear buildings before the demolition.
The two cottages will also be demolished.
Working as a contractor for JEHU Project Services Ltd, HCD are undertaking the soft stripping, demolition and concrete removal of the site adjacent to the TA centre.
The Nene Park football stadium is almost completely demolished after less than two months. The remaining end of the stadium will be removed over the next week in preparation for processing the remaining materials onsite.

The former Rushdon and Diamonds football stadium in Irthlingborough has been handed over to HCD in preparation for the demolition of the structures.
The site set up has commenced with soft stripping and demolitions to follow.
It is anticipated that the large project will take up to six months.
HCD have been contracted by Edenstone Homes to demolish several buildings at the former Coleg Gwent Education Facility located at Pen-Y-Pound, Abergavenny.
Working as sub contractor, the project will take up to ten weeks and includes soft stripping, asbestos removal, manual severs from two buildings that will remain followed by remote demolitions.
HCD Ltd have been appointed principal contractor for demolition works of the former Sinclair Horticulture site in Beevor Street, Lincoln.
The works include remote demolition of a large shed, demolishing two smaller brick buildings, removal of tarmac and breaking out an amount of concrete to crush to 6F2 and stockpile for future site use.
HCD Ltd took possession of the former council office site on Monday 28th November 2016. Contracted for the demolition of all building within the site, soft stripping, demolition and tree removal will take approximately twelve weeks.
HCD Ltd have been named as principal contractor to undertake demolition works at the former Whitworth Mill, Fletton Quays, Peterborough.
Preparation works commenced this week with the site setup. Soft stripping of the buildings will follow with the main demolition work to commence on the 23rd November.
The original mill will remain.
